I had the meanest nicknames... one was Lobster, thanks to getting really burnt one day, one was Flash, because "I was so quick" (sarcasm), another was Thesaurus because I knew lots of odd names. But the one that everyone called me, like my whole year, was Lesbian Loz. We had some stupid play we had to do in Health class about alternative families, and for lack of a better name that was my charector's name. And it kinda stuck. Oh, and I'm straight!
I might add that it has been many years that I have been out of school, and I am still called these. They seem to have been passed from friend group to group. And every so often I will bump into school friends and hear "Lesbian Loz!"

Poindexter or Four Eyes.....I wear glasses, I am a good student, I was "bookish." I haven't thought about this in a long, long time. Don't know if anyone at graduate school thinks the same...really don't care.
It's such a different perspective, looking back it was so hurtful then and is now just meaningless.

At Primary School it was Dangermouse as my initials were DM. Later it was Babes as I started a craze for a few months of taking a baby's dummy to school - it did seem cool at the time! :-)

I went to an academic school, and my nickname reflects this. My surname is Arthur, and my initial D for David, which gave D.Arthur. So my nickname was Mort, after Mallory's "Morte d'Arthur". Geddit? No, I didn't think you would!
