Creation is my CHOICE. There is very little conclusive evidence for evolution, even Darwin didn't believe Evolution. However, Creation is the simpler option, and by applying Occam's Razor, must be right. Similar design amongst animals and stuff just as easily points to a common creator, as it does to a common ancestor.
we use the words 'creature' and 'creation' and ignore the implication of a 'creator'
When Huxley, who was then Chaiman of the Royal Society, says 'Gentlemen... we must have FAITH in evolution, because the only alternative is Creation, and that is unthinkable' you know something is wrong.
A true Scientist depends upon proof, and repeatable results.
I said I choose Creation, because I am not afraid to have the living GOD in my life, and freely admit that this part of my life is apart from my scientific pursuits.
Sir Isaac Newton was a creationist, and looked upon himself as a Man of God, before a scientist, indeed, science was his pastime, Theology was his Love. And I'm not going to say that the greatest scientist of all time was wrong to put the Christ at the centre of his life, I use him as an example, to do the same.
However, the mealy mouthed evolutionists are in open rebellion with God's will, and will have their reward... It's being stoked up now, even as we type and read

There is only one that's true; evolution. It's been proved to the point of being fact. Creation is nothing more than an extension of Christa in theology. Religion is faith based supported only by myths and belief.

The real problem here comes in educating American children. The religious groups that demand evolution not be taught in schools have one central motive, dumbing down education. They would really prefer that NO science be taught in schools. They see science as something that moves youth away from religion.

So far they have had little success. Even Kansas went back to teaching biology with evolution. The problem is all this distracts from the main point. Educating.

Evolution of course.

People will claim that evolution cannot be proved. This is wrong; the process of natural selection and evolution has been observed in new strains of bacteria resistant to certian anti-biotics ect. This is 100% fact.

What cannot be proven (at least at the moment) 100% is the fact that we are the product of evolution. However, all the facts would lead us to believe that evolution created us.

Yes, it is a belief; there is no hiding from it. However, it is also a belief that they're isn't a multi coloured pig flying round the sun; we can't PROVE that there isn't but facts would allow us to BELIEVE this is impossible; no oxygen for ATP production, heat exposure, pressure....

A fellow gentleman said Newton believed in creationism; well obviously, no one came up with evolution when he was alive.

1) We know that Evolution is always working all around us. It even affects us: our technology evolves, and sexual selection (a part of evolution) determines what we look like. For example if people of two races have children, the children will be different from both.

2) If we assume that Creationism is true, then we stagnate. For centuries, Creationism taught us that the Earth was flat, the Sun went around the Earth each day, and man wasn't meant to fly, or God would have given him wings! Think of where we might be, technologically if we hadn't been held back by that thinking!

I believe in evolution 100%. I could go on and on about the problems with religion and religious beliefs. Fact is that evolution took billions and billions of years to finally get to where is is today. If people could look outside themselves and there beleifs and look at the evidence with there own eyes they may see a different light. Eventually through natural selection (read about it and think) and through gene mutation (again think and put these two together) add billions of year (which I know is hard to fathom) and you get your answer. Also read about Darwin and his findings into evolution. Read about the AIDS virus which is evolution in the short term.

This is life people, not a fairy tale with people turning water to wine, parting seas, and walking on water. You don't see this stuff happening today and any claim people make to doing this kind of stuff is always proved to be false or to have some SCIENTIFIC explaination to it. Don't worry, "GOD" hasn't stuck me down with a lightening bolt yet for decieving his ways and proving his exsistence wrong. So give it a try and see what you think for yourself.

Life i shard to understand. I f you are a Christian then you do not believe in evolution. But I didnt believe in any of it. Look round yourself and you will find that the world is changing faster than you can imagine with bombs and guns. We are not part of an evolution we are part of the world that is becoming evil. We sometimes think that things are accident and there are things that we cannot explain in are lives but yet we live on. The human race is changing but not evolving. My example:9/11 how did it all this happen, we have created so many conspiracies that we are lost in a world of lies. Some believe it was life from outer space that cause the pilots to become mental and crash the planes, other say 9it was magic formed by a small cult underground and although they are all sounding pretty silly we do not know the truth. You know just using this question on Yahoo you have let show what I feel about this world. Look at my writings, recycle, didnt ever buy a gun. I m talking you what i think of the world.

The proof for Evolution comes from many different sources that have had scientific validation applied to them. The proof for Creationism only comes from the Bible and relies only on belief, there is no actual theory that can be tested.

The evidence for evolution is truly overwhelming. And it comes from multiple independent sources: fossils, genetics, mathematics, and on and on. Hundreds of thousands of scientists across the world in many disciplines use the results of evolution daily.

Only a very small minority of people reject evolution, and only because they believe that their holy book has to be interpreted to imply that evolution is false. Most other people, including the majority of Christians, accept evolution and see no conflict with their religion.

For a summary of the massive amounts of evidence for evolution, go here: http://www.talkorigins.org - and especially the list of evidence for common descent at http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/comdesc/

Creationism is a fable only believed by religious fanatics and evolution has many flaws, but offers at least some scientific thinking.

'twas evolution, the tool that He used. It's not difficult altough many seem to find it so. Evolution is called the GUT (Grand Unifying Theory) of Biology. It's many years since it was considered a theory in science, having too many hard facts attached to it for it still to be theoretical. Yet why is it difficult to accept that God created a universe where this would kick in and create diverse life forms; man included? Is it that somehow we wouldn't be special enough? Who can read the mind of God? Who can second guess His plans for this universes future? I wouldn't dare.
