I would say as soon as the grass and surface ground is dry to touch. Otherwise it will just clump up and possibly spoil your lawn too.

Why do so many people find mowing the lawn such a chore? Its only like vacuuming the living room and if you are house proud it looks a hell of a lot tidier.
Do a high cut once the grass starts growing again whenever that is and then gradually reduce the height as you go into summer.you will only need to cut the grass about once a month to start with but by summer it may need once a week.it really depends on how fast it is growing.Don't worry too much about mowing if it is a bit damp, it wont hurt but obviously if it is really wet it could turn a bit muddy.

I wait as long as possible and yes it is hard to mow the first time but I do shorter mows during the summer. Make sure you have a mulcher blade. I try for June

whenever it is dry enough, most people mow regularly through the winter now as winters are getting so mild, I've even mowed on Boxing Day and New Years Day.

I live in Florida and we had to mow the yard a week ago. We don't get to stop mowing in the winter here.

I would wait until it obviously needs it. Seems like such a waist of time and energy when there are so many more interesting things to do!

I mowed mine last week and it didn't work out very well, too wet.
I would leave it another fortnight or so.
