1. Area of circle = pi r^2
C = 50pi
c = 2pir
so 2pir = 50 pi
r=25
so Area = pi (25)^2 = 625pi

2. Area = pi(8)^2 = 64pi (half diameter is radius)

3. c = 2pir
c = 2pi(4.5)=28.26

4. 225 = pir^2
225/pi=r^2
71.65=r^2
8.46=r
so c = 2pi(8.46)
c= 53.18

5. A = pi(10)^2
A = 100pi

6. Area =3(13)^2
A = 507

1) Radius = 50 divided by 2pi = 25 [because circumference = 2 x pi x radius]

Area = pi x 25 x 25 [because area = pi x the square of radius]
Calculate it yourself.

2) Radius = 16meters divided by 2 = 8meters [because diameter = twice of radius]

Area = (pi x 8 x 8)meters [because area = pi x square of r]

3) Circumference = 4.5inches x 2 x pi [because circumference can also = 2 x pi x radius]

4) Square of radius = 225 sq. meters divided by pi [because area = pi x square of r]

Radius = sq. root of 225

Circumference = 2 x pi x radius

5) Area = 3.14 x 10ft. x 10ft. [because area = pi x square of radius]

6) Radius of circular patio = 26ft divided by 2

Martina's estimate of area of circular patio = 3 x square of radius

Hope that helps!
I'll summarise the key methods of calculating area, diameter, circumference and radius:

Area = pi x square of radius
Diameter = 2 x radius
Circumference = 2 x pi x radius OR pi x diameter
Radius = Diameter divided by 2

1) 50 *3.14=157
2}16*3.14=50.24meters
3]3.14*4.5=14.13
4] the area would be225*225=506.25*3.14=158962.5
