It is not difficult at all for a person of Faith
to clearly see that the course of evolutiion
could have Easily been the method of God's Creation of Man !!
There is nothing in the "method" that detracts
from the end result and the bitter battle that has
been waged on this front is actually down right asinine !!

There is no human being (and I know this goes against the grain of many if not most theologians) no mater "how in tune" with scriptures or text--- that can possibly know --let alone understand-- the mind of God !! And, to hold to a particular interpretation of this event (or series OF events) so that it aligns with a "view" is counterproductive to reason and also counterproductive to understanding in general of things as they can be fitted into the probables in man's quest to fulfill his destiny in--------- "study to show thyself approved, a workman, rightly deviding the word of truth"---as a directive from the scriptures themselves !!!

So, to me --- a blending of these two elements is not nearly as far fetched (especially within recent times) as it once would have been as a view !!!

I was brought up going to church and Sunday school, but let's face it, if you are looking at things from a scientific point of view, then you have to believe in evolution. There have been studies and proof that evolution could have occurred. What proof is there about creation?

That evolution happened is a scientific fact. There are several theories or parts of theories as to exactly how it happened. Evolution is supported by taxonomy, genetics, geology, biology, astronomy, cosmology ...

Creationism is part of religion. It isn't science because it assumes answers and then tries to fit facts to the answers. Since a god created the world 6,000 to at most 10,000 years ago, all facts must fit this timeline. This is the reverse of science.

Darwin was a creationist because there were no alternatives. When his observations led him to a different conclusion, he changed how he thought.

Science looks at the universe the way it is and comes to conclusions as to how and sometimes why it is like it is. Creationists look at the literal interpretation of the Bible and make all their observations fit the Bible's account. They are opposites.

Decide what works best for you and the way you live your life. Since science is based on things that can be proven, it has disproven parts of evolution. However, it is possible that the bible was never meant to be take literally and perhaps is just a guide to help people understand the morality of their choices.

You must decide for yourself.

Those answering here who believe in evolution or natural selection, that will be their answer.

Those answering here who believe in God's creation, that will be their answer.

both... well the story of creation in the bible is a piece of literature... we shouldn't take everything in the bible literally. well evolution says the earth was made up of dust and remnants... and stuff like that... the force to put everything together came from God.. so basically it is a mixture of both... believe me.. that's what our teachers said

Look at the evidence for both, as unbiasedly as possible, look at the weal points, the philosophical perspective, and weigh all of the evidence, purpose of the explanations and then decide for yourself. Neither science nor religion benefifts by blind belief.

Try not to believe. Just look at the evidence and see which theory fits the facts.
