OK here's what's on my mind: Quantum Resurrection...If you didn't want to know, why did you ask? I'm reading this very strange book by Clifford A. Pickover...Didn't invent his name and I didn't invent the idea of Quantum Resurrection...The actually name of the book is "A Beginner's Guide to Immortality: Extraordinary People, Alien Brains and Quantum Resurrection."

I asked a question recently: "If you could live forever, would you?" and the answers were almost all in the negative...So I started thinking why should this be so? Why don't they at least feel like Woody Allen who said in "Without Feathers", "I don't want to achieve immortality through my work; I want to achieve immortality through not dying."

Seems reasonable to me...

I'm also thinking about clockwork butterflies and eternity...Would eternity have seasons? I ask because I read a quote today from Rainer Maria Rilke said about the coming of spring:

"Everything is blooming most recklessly; if it were voices, instead of colors, there would be an unbelievably gorgeous shrieking into the heart of the night."

A world that is capable of creating images like that is a world I never want to leave...So I'm thinking about death and immortality...

Hey, you asked!

To be honest, I'm a little preoccupied with a couple of things. This week I'm teaching English to French teenagers, which is absolutely great fun because I don't really do this in a textbook fashion, so the little gurriers never know what to expect and they love that ... but it means I have to keep on top of them too and it's exhausting.

Then I have my usual work, which is translation and proofreading, and I've things to be doing still tonight and I really shouldn't be here in Answers but I need my daily fix.

And lastly, I have a few paintings on the go that I need to finish and tidy up because I have told myself that I have an exhibition of new works in April in order to motivate myself, I am also in the process of putting together submission proposals to galleries ...

But I do have a few things on my mind, and one particular thing has been bothering me for a while, only I can't really do anything about it. However, I feel that this will be sorted eventually. I know that sometimes it's better to step back and let go ... I've done that, I'm not sure the other person involved has done the same, but really it's not worth getting upset about anymore. All the same, I can't but wonder.
