I've been using a philips 3 head shaver for years now and I'm quite used to using them. Problem is, they never get the hairs under my neck very well and I've been doing a bit of investigation to see whether or not the foil type shavers are better. Can anyone comment?

The electric shavers donot give total clean and smooth shave. It works where the skin is relatively tight. For clean shave only blades are best.Electric shavers are best during travel,to avoid soap and water.I use Phlishave(Philips) during travel only.

I too found it hard to remove these hairs and found the more i tried the redder my skin became. So what i do is quickly shave this area with a conventional razor (it will last a day longer than electrical shaving) and shave the rest with your electric razor.

I've tried them both, rotary and foil....they both have the same problem, they are not a blade!!! It's a pain and not perfect either, but that's the way to get the cleanest smoothest shave, sorry.
