here is a lisy of different places to eat to give an idea food and prices-http://www.santaferestaurants.net/
I think my best was Tomasitas (an old train station,now a restaurants)..
on the weekends, they have a little art/jewelry flea market in the courtyard,sold by the local natives and bring and try to negotiate-good deals...

Santa Fe is totally filled w/ galleries and local restaurants, have been there many times.....pick one or all, they are all fantastic!!!
