Dogs commonly eat grass, and there are several explanations that have been offered for this behavior. One, wild canids (e.g., wolves and fox) eat all of an animal when they catch it. Since they eat many herbivores (plant-eating animals), they end up eating a lot of grasses and plants that were in the intestines of these animals. In addition, they have been known to eat certain berries and other plant material. Dogs then, may eat grass because, in reality, it is a normal part of their diet.
Many times, dogs will vomit after eating grass. Did they eat grass to make them vomit? Or did they vomit because they ate grass? It is a mystery, but it seems that some dogs may eat vegetation when they have an upset stomach.
The third reason - they just like it. Some dogs have certain species of grass or plant material that they will search out and eat. We know a beagle who can pick raspberries faster than his owner.
In any case, grass eating is basically a normal behavior, and is not of concern unless your dog does it excessively.

Try changing her diet and monitoring everything she eats. Dogs chew grass on purpose to make themselves sick when they have an upset stomach! It's their way of curing the problem. If she's doing it on a regular basis then something isn't agreeing with her stomach. If this doesn't stop her then take her to the vets as she could have an internal problem.

a lot of animals eat grass when they have an upset stomach and it has been suggested that it is also to make them sick, cats and dogs both do and i think other animals too. It doesnt mean they have anything wrong with them its normal but if you dog does it all the time it might be a sign that it has a stomach problem

Dogs eat grass when their stomachs bother them. I would check to see if anything is missing around the house that she might have eaten.. or is anything chewed on.. My biggest worry would be if she's eaten anything that would obstruct her guts - but if she's been doing this routinely, that's likely not the case. Ask your vet for recommendations on the right kind of food for her.. maybe what she's getting is too rich? Good luck!

my dog has done this all his life?? when he does this he is usually attention seeking but sometimes he is poorly!! they do this to get all the sickness out as this is the only way they can grass is like medicine.
another possibility is that she has something stuck in her stomach and she needs medical attention. u will know which one she is by the way she is in herself!!

In any given situation, focus on what you do want your dog to do instead of on whatever he’s doing wrong. Learn how to train your dog https://tr.im/qadDG
For example, suppose that on many evenings, your young dog gets busy looking for trouble just as you’re digesting your dinner. He grabs a boot from the mat by the front door and gallops through the house with it. You yell at him and take it away. He grabs its mate. You yell and take it away. He heads for the kitchen and starts checking out the counters in case something tasty’s been left behind. You chase him away. And on and on, until you’ve lost your temper and torn out clumps of hair you can ill afford to lose.

Usually, dogs (and cats) will eat grass to 'clean out their system'. There isn't anything wrong with it, unless they do it all the time.
