to make the most of it. we only live once but if we live right.. once is enough. i guess we should just try to aim what's right..what will do all of us good.

I believe no matter what you choose for career, love-life, and hobbies, you should aim to make the world a better place for your having been here.
This is true for the smallest of actions, like cleaning up the picnic table in a park after you are finished, to the big things like starting a charitable organization for an illness, and all the things in between.

The aim of life is to acquire moral virtues and put them to the service of mankind. This may be a way to reach that lofty goal.
"Be generous in prosperity, and thankful in adversity. Be worthy of the trust of thy neighbor, and look upon him with a bright and friendly face. Be a treasure to the poor, an admonisher to the rich, an answerer of the cry of the needy, a preserver of the sanctity of thy pledge. Be fair in thy judgment, and guarded in thy speech. Be unjust to no man, and show all meekness to all men. Be as a lamp unto them that walk in darkness, a joy to the sorrowful, a sea for the thirsty, a haven for the distressed, an upholder and defender of the victim of oppression. Let integrity and uprightness distinguish all thine acts. Be a home for the stranger, a balm to the suffering, a tower of strength for the fugitive. Be eyes to the blind, and a guiding light unto the feet of the erring. Be an ornament to the countenance of truth, a crown to the brow of fidelity, a pillar of the temple of righteousness, a breath of life to the body of mankind, an ensign of the hosts of justice, a luminary above the horizon of virtue, a dew to the soil of the human heart, an ark on the ocean of knowledge, a sun in the heaven of bounty, a gem on the diadem of wisdom, a shining light in the firmament of thy generation, a fruit upon the tree of humility.

A person's aim in life should be: to be happy. The only one who knows what makes them happy is that person. It could be being rich, having a family, helping other peole, having a successful career etc. If you have to ask yourself if you're happy, then you're not truly happy. That is my aim in life.

The goal of all life is death.
But you can aim at anything you like while in transition.
Aim at teaching parables and dying at crosses like Jesus.
Or you can choose to aim at nothing, like what the Buddha did.

The goal of life is to express the love, peace, serenity and happiness of the Source. There is a hidden reality and that is, the cell divides without our consent, even the heart continues to beat.
There is this inner Inteligence who constantly creates ... life, and this is fueled by love for the created beings. Unfortunately, this is hidden from us. But if we strive to plug-in to this Source, we will come to be aware of this reality. Our goal is to manifest this hidden reality by co-creating happiness, infinite happiness in our life!
