Do you think there's a difference between being born gay and born TO BE gay? Honestly, the wording makes all the difference, right?

Sorry; wasn't very clear. I mean, no one has a defined sexuality as children. They can be vaguely aware of an attraction to members of their own gender, but their hormones don't really go into Operation Abomination until puberty, do they?

I was born gay so in a sense I was meant to be gay. It is what it is, no more no less. But your are right, the wording can make all the difference.

Being very much a dyke my partner is very much not. she dated men into college. I never dated a guy and knew it wasnt for me. I really just think that it has a lot to do with how in touch you are with yourself. I just always knew even though it was never that blatantly obvious, but i was definitely gay. When my partner says it just took her a while to realize it. Check out

I thought it was a funny/cute but interesting website.
But i would have to say being born gay. ;-)

Born to be gay for me means that it is in your destiny, but being gay you can't become a better gay or wore gay you just are.

In this sense it's the same thing.

You are what you are. No changing it. You can grow, but not change who you are.
