J.k rowling has herself answered this question.
She says that she is fed up of writing this story for the past many years.And now she wants to stop writing these stories.That is why she wants to kill this fictional character so that in the future no1 might write further using her fictional character.
Many of her story lovers have requested her to keep writing and continuing the story so she has not yet decided the final decision.So its not sure that HARRY POTTER will die in the last part.
Many are waiting for her decision.

Neways the 5th part of the film is going 2 b released in may.I've seen the trailer.And harry isnt that cute in this part bcoz he has got his hair cut.But the interesting part in this film is the kiss btwn harry and herminie.Wow waitin to see that.
There's goin 2 b a tough competition btwn HARRY POTTER & SPIDERMAN-III.Bcoz both r goin to b released in the same month.

Yes, but he needs to have a big, dramatic love scene before he does. So does Ron and Ms. Granger, the chemistry is there. But getting back to your question, they all need to die.

Yes I think so b'coz to finish any powerfull u will have to bet with ur life and u can die also and this movie is not so different.
And one reason for this is to finish the story.That's all.

I think it depends on HOW he dies. If he really does give all to save everyone he loves..... how can that be a bad thing?
