So I can take it out i know it is not healed yet put it is really not something i want to have in my mouth.

DO NOT touch it yet, you will get an infection you will have to leave it until it is healed and the pain will be unbelievable if you fiddle with it. Keep rinsing your mouth with salt water, you should have been told to go back to the shop to have your bar changed as your tongue swells so much when first pierced this is usually 14 days after so as to change the size of the tongue bar. I had mine pierced twice when I had the first one it hurt like mad and I could not talk, this did not put me off having one in front of it after a couple of years. Although I have none now as they do ruin your teeth and when you bite them god that hurts.

Sensible girl! Body Piercing is really the most repulsive fashion yet. It used to be confined to primitive people living in the remote jungle, serves absolutely NO purpose whatsoever, and should be returned to the jungle from whence it came! Sorry for the rant, but I am unable to help with the removal of your tongue ring except to advise you to go back to where you had it put in.

Definitely call and check. Your tongue heals fast, but believe me, if you are a week out you are past the worst of it.

are you mad why did you get it done then you definatly need to go back where u got it done if u just take it out now it is more than likely to get infected badky as the wound is so fresh and think what goes in your mouth everything from food to dust that u just breathe in

Call the people who put it in. You *did* get it done at a reputable place, didn't you?
Just don't fool around with it without knowing what you're doing, because you can really screw things up.
