Every politician loses touch with reality as so as they take office.
To paraphrase Disney's Aladdin "Absolute power, itty bitty brain."

Tony Blair is a communist , not a good communist for he likes the good life to much and all that goes with it. He's in a predicament at the moment as his fiddles and doggy dealing are about to be exposed. That's why he and Brown have not got rid of the bungling idiot Prescott (two jabs/Jags). Two Jags threatened to expose the shady goings on of Blair when he was threatened with the sack after he was caught humping his Secretary. Even if you support New Labour(communist party in all but name) surly you can see there is something wrong when a man like two Jags stays in power without so much as a word from his fellow MP'S. As far as the new road taxes are concerned he did the same when we went into Iraq only there were three million protesting on that occasion. No, he is becoming a King rather than a dictator, but wait a minuet didn't we remove royalty from government for the very same reasons. Of course we did. Our only chance to get rid of Blair is to vote for a party like the BNP or UKIP. Cameroons politics are more or less the same.

Tony Blair is doing what Blair continually does spinning and masking his personal again. If his get mutually ft the line and publicly argue that it is a springboard as he shows - then come the subsequent election he can carry his fingers up and say it grow to be "no longer some thing to do with me - I left labour with a splendidly solid springboard in 2007 - its no longer my fault Brown and Co did not capitalize on those staggering 2007 election consequences"

I know!!!
What kind of narcissistic moron thinks that by sending us all an e-mail we'll change our minds? From what I understand he's even going to have the cheek to ask for our ideas!
At what point did he think that charging from £1.00 per mile was a good idea that no-one would object to?
My Mom drives to visit but also help look after my Nan for a week every month-round trip of 600miles. She's retired now so at the proposed rates all of her pension will be spent on helping to look after her Mom.
He quite clearly has lost what little grip he ever had on reality.
Can't be gone fast enough for me.

Living in America, I don't know a lot about Tony Blair.
I do know, though, that he lost touch with reality when he decided to align himself with George Bush. At least Tony Blair sounds halfway intelligent and he surely noticed that George Bush cannot construct an intelligent sentence. What was he thinking.

Look at it this way, they are going to do what they want and we are powerless to stop it! We didnt want ID cards, tough we are having them and have to pay, our cars will soon be tracked..Mmmm great I dont recall asking for that. We are not alowed to choose if we want to smoke. New council tax rules will mean if you have a nice house in a nice area you have to pay more, if you have double glazing you have to pay more??? At the end of it all we live in a "precived" democracy that is just an ideal, not a reality. While we condon other more dictative regiems, our government is actually imposing the same thing in a less direct way.

Yes he lost touch when he won a 3rd election, power corrupts.
He started out with good intentions but power went to his head and somewhere along the way he lost touch with reality.
He once said "we (the public) are the sheep and he is the Shepard and he knows what is best for us!

Completely!!!! Education!Education!Education! - Education is in a worse state than when he said that. Iraq!!! - a war we did not need or want. When he first came to power he said that his government would be transparent and pure - meaning no sleaze. Mmmm - honours for those who lend money to the labour party - is that not just a tad sleazy.(Of course he didn't know about it.)Road pricing is just the nail in the coffin. We will now get a load of promises (most of which will be total lies) in time for the next election. It's not just Tony either - it's the whole of New Labour.

I'm very sorry we'll be losing Mr. Blair next year. He's the best Mini Me our country (the US) has ever had. He's more loyal to President Bush than most of us Americans.

I think that aliens abducted the real Tony Blair and left this misfit here instead. Is he for real? What I don't understand is why the Labour Party are still waiting for him to go, why don't they just throw him out?
