Bernard was in the back of the plane.. going to the bathroom. Then he is found up in the tree, strapped in a chair. Can we assume that will all the turbulance, he strapped himself into a vacant chair?

Yes. When they put the 'please fasten your seat belts' light on he probably sat down in a seat close to where he was; like Charlie did.

agree, the show that was once great is starting to fall apart. Is it just me or are the new episodes becoming far to familiar about going into peoples pasts. Also, how are the producers ever going to explain the smoke monster. Too many gaps in the story, loved it for the first 2 seasons, losing my patience with it now.
