No a 70 year old can not harm his or her self doing step aerobics because its an exercise that helps to keep the bone healthy, flexible, strong and always fit.

Weight bearing exercises like aerobics are good for bone density. Exercise helps stave off osteoporosis and it's good for your heart and mind.

better don't let her doing as old aged always suffers bone problems.
