It could be lots of things. Do you get a bsod before it restarts? If you're not sure, use F8 to start the computer and select the "stop on error" (or however it's phrased) item and continue. When it crashes you'll at least get a clue.
It could be power supply or overheating -- check your fans.
Clean out the computer with a (gentle) vacuum or compressed air. Reseat all of the boards and memory chips; be careful to not loosen any cables.
These are the obvious things, and they're all doable by someone not afraid to open the box.

It could be the power supply... It may not be failing but it may be underpowered causing the random restarts.
Windows is by default set to reboot on errors, you can stop this and next time the error happens you will get an error screen and perhaps and idea of what may be triggering the errors.
Go to the control panel and click on the system icon>Advanced>Startup and Recovery. Uncheck the Automatically Restart box.
You may get info leading to an improperly installed device, driver, or update... Here's a link that may explain it better...

It's your power supply. Intermittent reboots are signs of a dying power supply. They're pretty cheap so it won't be such a pain in the wallet to replace.

Might be a motherboard problem, but try the power supply first they are cheaper.

Check if your fans are working or are your fans weak . If weak replace them. Most likely your MOBO or CPU temp is high if your
fan is slow .
