Here I am sitting on the company sun terrace, feet splashing in the jaccuzi, pina colada at my side.and enjoying my lunch with my eyes closed. The trouble is that when I open them I find that I am actually in a draughty sales office on our van sales site. Would you buy a van from this man?

LOL up until the " my eyes closed" I thought you were gonna send us all to a link for time shares.
well at least your imagination is good, pity you realised you were in the office, if you'd have hung on 5 minutes more , you would have got the free massages they were dishing out.
No I wouldn't buy a van off you, but I sure would let you be my travel agent.

Yes, I would buy a van from you if I didn't know by your attitude and appearance that you didn't really like your job. It must be hard to sell vehicles because right now the sales are down. The economy is bad for everyone and people aren't going to be buying anything that they don't really need. If you want to keep the job that you have just spruce up your enthusiasm. But, maybe you'd like to get into a job that you really love. It's so much fun going to work to a job you hate to leave and can't wait to get back to. There are plenty of trade schools out there to pick from. Be happy in your work. Get excited.

Of course. I am easily taken in and am so gullible that I hand out blank signed cheques to strangers if I'm in a good mood

Seems like you either need a holiday or a job evaluation. Perhaps a change in vocation is required in order to lift your spirits and change your outlook on life?
