You must have a program like MS Office or Spellex for Outlook Express or something designed for OE spell checking, installed on your system. MS Office has the spell checker built into it. If you already have Office installed then you may want to reinstall Office or the operating system. What version of windows are you using? You can find these programs by using Yahoo search engine and type, can not activate spell check on outlook express, in the search field. Hope this helped.

Most of the Outlook Express error messages are due to problems with the internet connection, not the software on your computer.

when it underlines a misspelled word right click click on the right one or the one that seems right or on Macintosh you left click then choose the right word.
