I believe crying is sometimes a sign of weakness because our mind cannot take everything that is going on, so we cry almost as though our tears are our pains washing out. When we cry and tear with happiness, joy, and gratitude, that isn't really weakness, or strength. I believe that is more just not being able to contain our joy (which actually might slightly show weakness, but not necessarily negatively). Many people often look at crying as being pathetic, like most boys and men don't want to cry because it makes them look weak, pathetic, and sensitive. But being able to show your expressions can be thought of as a strength because you are facing your feelings head on and in a way saying to yourself that it's okay to cry, sometimes you need to cry. Although it may not actually help your problem, it can mentally help your coping with it.

It is circumstantial. If you are crying because you are feeling pain (either physical or mental/psychological) or sharing in someone elses pain or suffering, then it is honest and therefore a sign of strengh. However, if you are using it in a manipulative way, to control others with sympathy and pity, then it is weak and is what I consider to be psychic vampirism. Then of course there is sentament - crying when watching a sad movie or it could be recalling something from your own life - a private moment which is not in any way weak or trying to influence other people.

It is an acknowledgement of feelings, of emotions. Are you human? If you are, then it is normal.
Crying can indicate different emotions. Happiness, sadness, anger, frustration, I don't think for a minute that you "feel" like a weak person, you "think " that you are...and maybe because someone told you at some point it was a weakness. And you believed it.

Depends on the situation. If you cry at a movie or when you sking your knee, then yes you are a weak person. However, tearing up over the birth of a child or the loss of a loved one is very acceptable.

i feel that crying is a sign of weakness-like if a bully bothers you with insults and names and it makes you cry then it shows that the person is weak but if a boy cries people say its coz they aren't afraid to let out their emotions, people need to cry and it is normal and part of being human and keeps us sane lol

It's a sign that you're emotional. Whether or not that is a good thing, depends on what you're crying about.
If you cry too easily, it gets very boring for the person on the receiving end. I think you should save your tears for something worthwhile.

Personally, I think that people who don't cry are weaker than those who shows others that they cry, because it is in HUman nature to cry and release all of the negative feelings we have when we go through that upsets us.
Keeping your feelings bottled up so no one to see, even for years at a time is never healthy and will always lead to mental instability in the end.
