I think all the posters up to now have missed the point of the question. It isn't anti-English or anti-immigrants.
It's making a good point about those who claim that all immigrants should be sent home - by reminding everyone that the English were originally immigrants (from Germany in the fifth and sixth centuries), so should they all be sent home as well?

I thought. Then I struck a small problem. One of my parents isn't of Anglo Saxon descent. So, I suppose sending me back to wherever is pretty much stifled. I suppose the fall-back measure isn't any better. That's where I get sent back to where I was born. It's only a day's travel from here. Still in the same country. Hang on... I was born in this country. That makes me, by definition, indigenous. Same deal for one of my parents. So that's two of us staying. And seeing as the non-Anglo parent was the immigrant, they'll be staying on, too. Oh, good. No worries, then. Glad we could have this chat, sort everything out, put my mind at rest.

So who would be left? Who could be considered 'indigenous'?
The Scots, or perhaps the Welsh?
Are you talking about repatriating all people descended from the Saxons, Angles, Normans!
And are you willing to be sent back to wherever your ancestors came from? Would that be France, perchance? Or perhaps Scandinavia?

I don't think there is such a thing as a pure English person, my Norman ancestry comes from my Scottish roots. Presently considering the state of the uk I wouldn't mind going to live in France.

Dude.
I don't know why everyone is so hung up on where people originally came from, the colour of their skin, the type of their hair. We're all people. This is our earth. Share and share - anyone can live anywhere, why the hell not!
Why do people find it hard to accept someone beause THEY HAVE A DIFFERENT SKIN PIGMENT TO THEM? It's ridiculous.
And I am white, with light brown hair - half English, and apparently half Polish which I only discovered recently.
Maybe I should cut myself in half and send my legs to Poland and my torso to France. That should please some bigots.

If we did that there would be no-one left here! Also I would have to be split into at least thirds in order to go back where I came from. (Mixed Irish, American, English)

No of course not, and Bekil you are over simplifying the the debate, it has nothing to do with colour or race, it is to do with attacks on our culture and religion with the support and help of the incumbent government, and police, for gods sake everybody WAKE UP, the muslims want Sharia law imposed. do you want beheading for your beliefs!
