Like anything else, it depends where you are and the resume of the coach. I charge $50/hr for those I've been working with a long time and $75/hr for new clients. Plus studio time. My rates are reasonable for my resume and my location (NYC),

It's very unusual to need more than an hour per session one on one.

Yes, for private coaching, you'll normally pay an hourly fee. There is no "standard" fee; what you pay has to do with the coach's prior experience and rate of success. Here in Los Angeles, I'm sure you could pay several hundred dollars and hour for the top teachers...but you can certainly pay a LOT less.
