give it to him, then he'll feel bad for not getting you anything and go out and get you something really nice.

You bought him a gift because that is what you felt compelled to do, therefore you should give it to him without expecting anything back - it wouldn't be a gift otherwise. If he really hasn't got you anything, then what he does for you afterwards to show appreciation (and guilt) over not having something for you will be a lot more heart-felt than what he felt pressured to go out and buy in the first place. One more thing though ... exactly how romantic is a gift card? There isn't much thought in that and, like, you are exposing the exact $ value of your gift! NOT COOL! Now he has the added pressure of having to go shopping with the voucher and selecting something appropriate (which obviously he doesn't like doing or else you would also have a gift from him). Hmmm ... just 'cause you've spent money doesn't necessarily mean that you are the most thoughtful.

its about loving and caring for GOD< YOURSELF and the person
that you have in your LIFE. Often times we hang our purposes ou

than giving and or recieving, at different times of the year? i guess
to answer your question, its all about the recieving.
