Well, I live in Greece and the places I absolutely love are Monemvasia (it is like you walk in the 15th century), Syros (Cycladic island with a lot of neoclassic buildings), Kythira (island on the south of peloponese, rather quiet, with a lovely scenery, castle and beaches), Kefallonia (because all the small villages on the island are so clean, so green and so lovely).

I arrived in Mykonos after a long inter-rail trip around mainland Europe and having slept overnight on the deck of a boat to Greece. I suddenly found a relaxing and yet upbeat island, where I just laid back as well as partied. It was a great contrast to my earlier trip segment.

The island is small and the main town is really tiny and full of whitewashed pathways and small buildings. There are windmills just on the edge of the town which look beautiful against the sea and rocks. There are quiet beaches and miles of sand and ocean to explore. It's wonderful and a friendly place to be.

That trip was one of the most memorable of my life, whereas so many other holidays can merge away into a blur over time. This was where I learned to party and let my hair down some more.

widespread is basically too personal. We each and each and every have favorites in accordance to our personal possibilities. And Greece does have some thing for anybody. i do no longer imagine that Greece is the most beautiful position in the international The earth is done of gorgeous places. yet Greece is between the most magical places in the international. And trust me i have been round.

Monemvasia is an amazing castle, built on a huge rock in the sea, with magnificent architecture and landscape. Very nice traditional hostels in the castle.

Agios Giorgios (South) in Kerkyra is beautiful. The people are nice, and the beach is fantastic. Just be careful not to visit during tourist season, because it's all the MTV crowd and prices skyrocket.
