Because amla has both sour-bitter taste which means its a base. So when it mixes with water, the molecules that creates the sourness and bitterness of the amla which lies in the taste buds in your tongue after chewing amla reacts with incoming water molecule. Thus creating a whole different molecule which in turn gives off this taste of sweetness on your tongue.

After closing the TV we can see the last picture outline on it. Like every sense of human body would keep the last unit for moment. Listening a music, (and switch off), getting out of a soft bed, etc.,
There is also an old saying that "the words of elders and the taste of Amla are first sour but later are sweet." Study how our senses control us to be active and study how to control them.
