Should MP's be encouraged to live on £100 per weeks for a few weeks to see what its like?

Do MP's really know what its like for those of us that live on less that £100 because employers won't employ disabled people?

A couple of years ago, Michael Portillo tried to live on a single mothers income for 2 weeks. The mother had 2 children . Micheal Portillo just could not manage on the benefits this mother recieved, and at the time said that the Government must improve benefits for anyone who is recieving them.

Don't sign any of the petitions on the Governments website... look at the ones who signed the motoring petition recently - They have now inadvertently gave Tony the green light to bombard their in-box with Government Propaganda.. MP's dont earm much anyway. Blair only lives on £100,000 a year, which is good but not brilliant considering the job he does.
