I know alot of people who bag out emo that don't even know what it is really. I want you to read this info packet about it. Which I believe is the true meaning. And tell me what you think and where you went wrong and if you think this is the real meaning.

you sopposedly dress emo when you wear lots of eyeliner and wear black stripes alot
you are emo when you have lots of emotions.... people who cut themselves are categorized as emo
some people think it mean you're "on your way to being gothic
there are also people who think they are emo because they listen to Panic!at the disco (those are called wanna-be's)
i think emo is when you have a small number of friends, have a strong liking of the color black, listen to rock, and not care about other people

to me emo is a lifestyle...people who dress how they like and act how they like and are very comfortable with themselves. They aren't concerned with what people think of them. (I am not emo but I have known a few and this is my perspective.)

it's an indervidulaity, which i think is great people should never judge others by there appearance after all it would be boaring if we all looked and dressed the same.
it's called personality, we all have different finger prints for good reason

emo is just another way of people trying to find a group to belong to, just like goths, jocks etc. Theres nothing individual about it.

emo is the other face of rock culture.. emo=emotional, i think so.. music from FOB, MCR and P!ATD are the best examples.. wee.. emo rocks!!! \m/(o0)\m/
