Hard question to answer when you do not tell us anything about your business, your needs, your technical requirements, etc. When you post questions here, and especially in Computers & Internet, if you want assistance, you need to give us some frame of reference to go on.

Sony, Toshiba, Acer..
Try apples, i think they are comming back in, but you will have to learn the OS and make sure they are compatible with the work you do.
Keep away from HP, Packard Bell, Time, Advent, Compaq etc...
Also keep away from Vista. Or if you have a laptop now with XP that you dont use, buy a laptop with Vista, then install XP from fresh, then install Vista in a few months when the bugs are fixed.
