I would like to buy speakers for my PC under £30 (or $50). I have a few questions:
1. Is it worth to buy a 2.1 (with a sub-woofer), or a decent 2.0 will do (I won’t turn it on loud because of my neighbours!)
2. I’ve seen “mobile theatre” speakers, are they even better quality?
3. Is it better to use USB connected speakers, or those directly connected to the mains?

For $50 its best to buy Creative SBS 370 2.1 speakers which are good compared to other low range 2.1 speakers.

on your case, i does no longer choose for the Logitech Z-5500s. they might actually shake your complete workplace :) I truthfully have a pair of Cambridge Soundworks 2.a million audio device that i exploit at domicile..
