I believe he is a man on a mission being pushed into it as a result of 9/11 and believes terror is the world's greatest threat. He will make mistakes along this path as anyone would, but believes firmly that America is at risk and does not want another terrorist attack. In such circumstances, personal freedoms are placed in a secondary position, but with no attacks on the U.S. since that horrible day, it may be his plan is working.He is comitted to staying the course set after 9/11 and it would do well for Americans to remember this. Never, since A. Lincoln has there been the threat of the U.S. coming apart and memories are short in those who forget the atrocities comitted against the U.S. Bush will not forget. He may be many things, but he is a true American ina difficult job thrust on him, but at times, will go to far that upsets the secular progressives and their movement.
