Everything seemed to have gone wrong. I am not complaining but I don´t have any energy left.
My mother rejects me because I cannot have children.
I have always been in the shadow of my two elder sisters.
I am from Germany and I studied English and French, which
takes about 6 years there since a lot of research work is
implied. During my studies I had jobs like a waitress,...and
also as freelance journalist .
I succeeded in English but not in French . Since you need tow subjects in germany
it was impossible to get a job there. I got a job in the States
where I taught German for a year. Then I went to the
frenchspeaking part of Switzerland where I taught
German and English. But I only got jobs on an hourly basis
and have just managed to make ends meet (no paid holidays,
no health insurance). Right now I am in China teaching on an hourly basis again . I got less hours than I thought. I am just tired . Pollution, water probl

Well im sorry to hear you are feeling that way. You seem to be going through a rough patch, but it will end. It actually sounds like you've had a great life so far, youve been to many different countries, you got to live and work in all these different environments. I can only hope that I get to do the same when I finish my studies. Perhaps you need a change in your life, it sounds like you like to move around abit, so why not go on a new adventure to another place, or instead of teaching you could try some translator work. Just try to cheer up!

you speak German and English, well, thats a good start, and youre already in the PRC, the fastest growing economy in the world... instead of piecemeal huurly paid work, why not freelance and advertise your language skills on a freelance basis.
its one thing to teach a class of 20 students, and quite something esle to teach on a one to one basis. (I teach photography) my students love their one to one time... we always get more done, because there are less distractions.
ok, you cant have kids, you and millions of other women are in the same boat, it happens, and im pretty sure you didnt do it deliberately, did you? NO. so its the work of a higher god, and out of your control. im in a wheelchair, not my fault but my mum wasnt at all supportive.. in fact she blanked me for many months... we cant change other peoples attitudes... which is a pity. but there isnt any known cure... your fertility issues may in the near future have a remedy or cure.. until then, smile and get on with it.. whats the option...
and traditionally the kids look after ageing frail parents... you could point out that when she gets old, youll be the one looking after her as your sisters will be afr too busy with their own lives... and on that basis she should cut you some slack.. tell her about largagtyl.. and the liquid cosh... and state run old peoples homes.
good luck.. all you can do is persevere. and remember to smile.. even if its only occasionally.

Stop feeling sorry for yourself. In China there is a proverb "I was sad because I had no shoes until I met a man who had no feet" Now you have to write two lists. Number 1 headed "Positives" and number 2 headed "Negatives". Include in the lists everything about your life, qualifications, hopes, aspirations, feelings and desires. Then sit down and work out ways to change the negatives into positives and go for it.

I don't really understand your question, but have a couple of comments. I know what it's like not to be the favorite son..I had to get over that to move on. It sounds like you are working without a plan or goal. You have to stop taking things as they happen and make something happen yourself. If you aim at nothing in particular, you will hit it every time.

I don't know what the matter is. It seems you have been enjoying the experience of foreign travel. Stop moaning and count your lucky stars.
