HI THERE,
MY LEATHER SOFA IS 9 YEARS OLD AND HASNT GOT A CRACK OR MARK ON IT.IVE BEEN USING FABRIC CONDITIONER MIXED WITH WATER,TO WIPE THE SETTEE OVER EVERY OTHER DAY,THEN I GIVE IT A GOOD CLEAN WITH SADDLE SOAP EVERY MONTH.IT MUST WORK BECAUSE I HAVE TWO MESSY KIDS AND A DOG THAT JUMP ALL OVER IT.
i dont know what you can do if its already started to crack,but if you try what i use,it may help.i didnt find that the leather cleaners on the market were much cop.i hope this helps.good luck.

You won't be able to fix the faded leather but you can stop it from cracking further by conditioning it say about twice a year, leather cream that they use on saddles is good that's if you know where to get it from, failing that QVC do a fab package that has a leather cleaner and a leather conditioner in it I always use to use it up until we changed our settee.

It depends on the type of leather as to what you can use on it. I almost bought a sofa from DFS until I was told I could not even use a damp cloth on it or it would stain it. Check with a leather specialist. Don't go chucking anything on it until you are sure. Maybe check with the shop where you bought it.

Hi I have an old leather chesterfield suite and we have allways kepy it in good shape using "Saddle Soap". Unfortunately you can do nothing about the cracks that have appeared already.

Go to your nearest IKEA store and pick up their Leather Cleaning and Cream set - about a tenner! It's the only stuff I have found that actually works -

Yep Saddle soap, that's the one.i use it on my motorcycle leathers and its great.It cleans and feeds at the same time.they are lovely and supple and no cracks.

every time you clean up run a baby wipe over the sofa my nan used to to it and my mum still does it the wipe keeps it clean and supple and it don't cost a lot either.
