i had talk talk and they promised on many occasions to connect me which took 2 months longer than promised. their customer service is CRAP all they do is lie to you.
do what me and many others have done and tell them to stuff their crappy broadband.
they will not charge you a cancellation fee as all the problems are of their own making.

Its the old saying you only get what you pay for, the problems you have is not explained, but you may want to complain to trading standards, you are subscribing to a service whether free or not, if that service is not being delivered for whatever reason then seek advice, you should be asking whether you have the right to cancel such a contract that they have not adhered to, or are seen to be not providing a service fully, in the terms of that service/contract

I use TalkTalk and am very satisfied. However, you also use them and are not satisfied and assuming you have brought your problems to their attention and they have been unhelpful, I suggest you contact Charles Dunstone who is the top boss at Carphone Warehouse (they own TalkTalk). You can email Mr Dunstone by going to this web site and scroll down to the bottom right hand corner where there is a link. http://www.carphonewarehouse.com/commerce/servlet/gben-contact-Contacts

Good luck

I have been with TT since last June and have no problems with them. Suggest you write to the Chief Exec Officer at TT and tell him about your troubles. He very likely doesn't know what his minions are getting up to.

I don't, but a colleague near me is calling them every single day, telling them "I'm going get a refund and cancel my contract!" or "Get me your manager on the phone!"
... every single day! Must be really tiring.
