I am an atheist and I often think about this issue myself.
My answer is that it probably will never die because it gives a great deal of comfort to people as well as a sense of belonging to something that is bigger than themselves. It gives them a sense of unity.
You cannot disprove the existence of a god.
To many people having faith is enough.
I think religion is a flexible thing because it can adapt to new information about the world and incorporate science into their beliefs. For instance, there are many Christians out there that now believe in evolution and no longer take the scriptures literally. In my own personal experience, it's hard to find a Christian that thinks the earth is only 6,000 years old.
Go back one hundred and fifty years and the results would be the opposite.
New scientific information will not stop those with a good amount of faith. Most will instead will accept the new evidence and do it in such a way that it does not interfere with their belief system.
I think that it's possible that the percentage of Christians could go down to a very small amount, but I doubt that it will ever go away completely. All it takes is just a handful of people to carry on a belief.

Extinct? that is stressful to have self assurance this variety of ingredient would ensue, and that's such an ingrained component of our international immediately the a techniques achieving implications are only massive. I shutter to think of of the massive reaction and upheavel. of direction what you're suggesting would in all probability be some thing theoretically sluggish, as such, i does no longer precisely carry your breath if I have been you. Christianity is unlikely everywhere for a very sturdy long jointly as a minimum of. yet at the beginning, I argue human beings prefer faith, so some thing would could circulate in to fill the void, regardless of which would be. call it a crutch, call it a source of capability and devotion, call it regardless of you will devoid of it we've degredation, aethistic ammorality is chaotic and breeds selfishness. I truthfully have by no ability met a fairly moralized individual who did no longer have self assurance in some thing greater desirable than themselves, no count if that's honor, faith, spirtuality, or basic idolizing, it seems neccessary. Inductive reasoning i know, yet there's a super sort of positive judgment to lower back it up. So incredibly, no longer something would exchange, some thing in addition debatable, with an identical or very comparable gadgets of benevolence, or malifacence would replace it. heavily nevertheless "while" miss Kitty? What makes you experience like christianity is any much less influential in peoples lives at present to any extent further than it became into 4 hundred years in the past? It has in theory been around considering the fact that human beings found out to jot down, and nevertheless it has replaced face many circumstances, what makes it any weaker now? Missions nevertheless bypass on bringing the observe into places the place it has somewhat reached, and as time passess christianity evolves to be greater suitable, greater "ethical". I douby we are able to ever see an entire fading, regardless of the undeniable fact that it shall evolve to develop right into a greater advantageous stress as we proceed into the destiny. only as all cultures look to, we are able to make errors alongside the way, create new issues by oversights, overzealousness, carelessness, and only ordinarily. yet a loss of life of christianity? I heavily doubt that. yet once you have some sound data i'd be very drawn to seeing them.

Here's hoping!
The disintegration of a religion (any religion) which is the cause or at least the excuse for suffering and persecution is no bad thing, as long as the concepts behind moral conduct are kept. You don't need to shrink behind a 'god' to live a good life and do your best not to cause harm to yourself or others.
