Java Moss, Cabomba, elodea and crystalwort are all excellent choices for plants.

A female can give birth several times without a male in the tank, 5-6 is not at all uncommon. Typical guppy broods range from 40-80 but there have been many of 100.

Java Moss. easy to grow, doesn't mind low light, lots of places for guppy fry to hide.

enough that it covers the bottom of the tank, depending on size, the smaller the fish the more plants needed
