The truth is that it has not been decided. Contracts negotations continue.
I will say this however, if it continues the writers really need to get their heads out of their butts because this show has really gone downhill.

Sorry, but what you had heard, is she would not do a eighth season if Alexis Biedel, who plays Rory, left the series for good, and I hope this sometimes really goofy show is cancelled, but it might not end up that way.

i love gilmore girls.but i think that it would be good for them to end it now.because we don't want the shows going on too long because after awhile they start to get boring.
