Yes of course. It stops many unwanted babies entering the world into circumstances which may be damaging to them during their lives.

Yes for the following reasons:
1) reduces teen pregnancy
on this one I am in the middle fact is if they are putting themselves in the position to have sex then they are assuming the responsibility that comes with sex its just the fact that most wont or cant get a job to support there own child thus putting the burden on there parents or the system.
2) Rape
many people wach day get raped and have an unwanted kid or end up getting an abortion therefore if they were on b/c then it would eliminate the problem of abortion and an unwanted child.
3) Regulate periods
people that have very heavy or break through or unregular periods can bennifit from the pill.
4) Population control
in the fatc that so many single parents are around in this day and time the last thing we need is someone who is irrispnsible going around haveing 4 and 5 kids when they cant even take care of 1.
5) People who are in medical danger of having a child.
people with diabetes , cancer , aids , uncureable STDs

There are many good reasons in general for birth control.
