Why are most African Americans rough most of the time? Is it the culture? Economic status or what? There are lots of minorities out there that have seen the same oppression if not worse and they don't have the same attitude proble?

Dolphinch is not right, you have a point I have been many places and its the same evrywhere. The whites always owe them something because they are minority.Forget getting out and working hard and getting an education.I don't buy into the minority thing,we are all the same and I know many who have worked hard and risen to the top.Quit your cryin I say and step up and be somebody.

You see the problem here is that you say MOST African Americans are rough most of the time. You are coming from a place of assumption. There is a rough attitude among all people. You are assuming that because of what the media chooses to show us, you only learn about the rough part of society. Do NOT make the mistake of stereo-typing.

This is an incredibly racist question.

You can't clump a group of people together and say that they're ALL aggressive. I could generalise about white people and say that they all like NASCAR and enjoy Klan meetings.

I'm white and I hate NASCAR and I DEFINITELY do not approve of the KKK.

My point is that it's unfair to take a small group of people (eg: aggressive African American characters in movies) and to generalise their traits to the larger group (eg: all African Americans). It's just wrong and the world doesn't work like that.

Geoffrey Dharma and Ted Bundy where white. Are all white people canniblistic, nimphromaniac serial killers? I don't think so. Therefore, not all African Americans are aggressive.

Racist question

I really think it is a matter of the rough part is magnified by the media.

And the veneer of ruffness is used as a cover for the youngster.

And if you grow up with real poverty, you will likely get rough.

And there are not too many folks saying how miserable the rough life is, and how much nicer it is to live the one true love life.

You hear me?

The African American has been that way for generations. Its not fair to say all AA are that way but when you get whole communiteis of AA then you have high crime rates and social problems. The AA I know in my neighborhood are quiet law abiding ...good neighbors,,,keep their property well maintained but its not far from here we have the AA with crack houses, ho's, death in the street, etc.etc ..the environment makes the difference

Most? How do you know what most people are like? You do not exactly know everyone in the world. I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but you cant exactly group millions of people into one type of person and calling them "most".

Not all black people are rough. For some people it just comes naturally. My husband who is WHITE is very rough.

the difference is, they are CARNAL.
carnal means they are rough because they do not have the spirit of God.
For God reproves even the hardened criminals if they seek him out. and their hard hearts are changed. When this happens then they will walk in paths of peace.
But I do agree with your hypothesis. it seems very valid.
