Everytime i get a new phone i always seem 2 be jinxed with it. I am careful with it and look after it well. But the battery always seems to go faulty after a few months... it will turn on normally wen i turn it on but switch off when it feels like it. Battery will be full or half full and it jus turns itself off then sometimes back on again. Is this because I "part charge" it like 30mins one day then 2hours another time? Do phones have a certain time to be charged for?

When you get new Li-Ion or NiMH battery, you are supposed to fully charge it and fully discharge it at least 4 times. This prevents charge memory from developing, but if you DON'T, then your battery will never hold the full charge it was desinged for.
Also, the battery itself will only allow for about 500 charge cycles before going bad. This is an average, and your actual lifespan will vary.

I hate to declare it, in accordance with what you defined, your port on the telephone is maximum in all probability broken. what's occurring is your no longer getting a ideal connection, and your battery isn't charging. I did a rapid Google seek, and it sounds as though such as you may get a substitute connector for approximately $20.00 for that type of telephone. whilst you're reachable sufficient with electronics, it would no longer be a perplexing pastime.

You might leave it on for to long the battery loses its charge if you do that to many times.

You might have better luck if you charge your phone at the same time every day until the phone says it's full.
