AVG ver 7.5 is still free & will continue to be for the foreseeable future...you are talking about the old version 7.1...so keep with AVG

Not true - you can still get AVG free - look here: http://free.grisoft.com/doc/1 However, the paid (by subscription) version has more features and they would prefer you paid.

You can get Norton for free from Google..Its a 6 month subscription. I never liked Norton because it seems to slow down my computer but it does catch more than AVG

aol do a complete suite which was written by kaspersky(the best), very light on resources and very quick, also v.good. i have it installed on about 12 machines that i manage, had no virus or malware problems for 5-6 months from clients.
