Will either of them end the season with a .300 average?

I think Abreu will have a better season. Damon strikes out too much to hit .300 but both will have above average seasons. Abreu should be somewhere around .300, 25 HR, 90 RBI, .350 OBP as long as he stays healty.

Damon had a great season last one. If he keep his numbers they still fall short of Abreu's. I think that Bobby will relish the new team he's on and have a terrific season. He regains his HR stroke and crushed 30 HR's and 115 RBI's. But it doesn't diminish the Damon contribution to the team. We win this year!

i think they will both end the season with above a .300 average.
abreu's average will be about .325 and damon's will be about .310.
abreu will have the better season.
he will get many hits, RBI's, HR, and will do great in right field.
damon will start good but will slow down at the end.

Abreu is gonna have a awesome season. The way he works a pitcher, and now with all that protection in the lineup. It seems he likes the NY atmosphere also. I think he might have the best season of all the yankees.

They will both bat better than .300 but Damon will try to secretly grow sideburns and will be murdered by Steinbrenner in late August. Abreu hands down. More patient and will steal more bases then Damon this year.

damon will have the higher average at around .315, but abreu will knock more runs in, hit more homers, steal more bases, and has a rocket arm, unlike damon who throws like a girl...so damon will do wat the yankees expect of him as a lead off guy n abreu will be unreal

If Abreu's power has returned he should have slighty better numbers. If not Damon will.
