I am being emotionally drained by the issues and politics in the office, plus a very excellent boss when it comes to degrading me. I am doing a good job and he just cant face it and appreciate what i am doing and everytime he's around me all he can do is degrade me, he just called me fat the other day, there are just a lot of things he has done and said to me that are emotinally abusive but i've kept quite for a long time, i feel its time for action.

Everytime i wake up in the morning, there's nothing that motivates me to come to work but i just come either way.I can be on time anywhere but not at work. I need help please! Any suggestions??? Right now he just said the worst, i feel so underestimated, disrespected, very hurt and the demotivation just got worse.

Self esteem is a serious issue for even the most educated of people. Quiting before you have found another job could prove to be a bad move, depending on your location and experience it may take some time to land the job your looking for. On the other hand your having to deal with mental abuse by your boss, which is causing you to spiral downwards "emotionally", so there are definitely cons for either way you choose.
Get to your employment office and see what types of jobs are available as soon as you can. If you have enough in savings to allow you to get a part time job until you can find the job you want, that may be the good way to go. If you dont have anything in savings, I would say stay, but you need to put forth the effort to find another job soon.......If the depression becomes to much to handle, seek help immediately.

If you have a human resources department, you should start there, probably. It's not a good idea to talk to your co-workers about him. That is called gossip, and you could be terminated for it, or worse, sued for slander.

If the company that you work for can't help you with a harrassment issue, then you can find assistance with an attorney or law firm that specializes in these matters.

Whatever the case may be, if someone is morally degrading you by calling you "fat" or anything else, especially in front of others, then you are being harrassed.

Alright, this is what you do. Before you go in today, look in the mirror and love yourself. Make a list of all the people who love you and of all the things you do well. Then, go into work ON TIME, because it is the right thing to do. On the weekends or after work...look for another job. This jerk doesn't deserve you. Who does he think he is? ---on the other hand, there are some sick puppies out there who pick on people that they like. But if your boss makes you feel bad, why are you going in?
