I would say mindanao is not all that indigenous. I mean Abu Sayyaf and Jemaah Islamiyah are anything but indignant. They are malicious and intolerant. However, the Moro National Liberation Front seems to show hope. Christianity is booming in Mindanao... I know that doesn't set well with muslims, but it's happening... like it or not.

I view Christainity as socially tolerant while politically intolerant. However, the vast majority of muslim factions are generally always intolerant. I think that tolerance from the muslims in Mindanao would only afford them tolerance from various factions and christians alike. One can't expect to be granted freedom, if they don't grant the same freedom to others.
