Five days a week, no evenings, no weekends. . . That time is my own. I'm a secretary / receptionist.

You work 5 times a week? How utterly exceptional, you should get an award. As a hairdresser you are doing God's work, you should know this. You are truly amazing, will you marry me, do not tell me that you work 40 hours a week because that would be unbelievable. Way to be a "trained" hairdresser, society would collapse without you.

I'm an interpreter and while it's been a little slow lately, I generally work 7 days a week. As for how many times a week, I usually have many jobs/day. Typically 4-8 different assignments (sometimes I'll have a single all day job as well).

Sounds like the answer is poorly phrased. Do you mean, how many days or how many hours? I work 7 days a week, doing different things.
