Not the word, itself but the constant misuse of words. For example people spelling then when they mean than (and vice versa); confusion between there, their and they're; to, two and too. Makes me nuts. They're common words and it's not rocket science, ya know? It's not like I'm expecting people to know words that are rare or obsolete. Even who/whom doesn't bother me, but those I listed sure do.
Oh, and irregardless. It's regardless, people. No need to add the 'ir' at the beginning.

Yeah the "F" word really annoys me when people constantly use it.To me it is only a word to relieve anger and stress and should not be used in every sentence.Some people seem to think it makes them look cool when they use it extensively.

Axe instead of Ask
Errbody instead of everybody
Also when someone always says 'like' in the sentence when it really isn't necessary to, like, use...like, you know?
And when someone says, "Know what I mean" after every sentence...know hwat I mean?
So, the most annoying sentence in the world would be: So, like errbody wants to, like, axe you if, like, you have ever been to Paris, like, know what I mean?

i hate the word YO!
A person should have attitude to use that word - without it, when people use it, just coz its cool, it sounds awful

when people use their fingers for (like) quotation marks!!!
Or when people use their hand to portray a telephone, i.e. fist with first and last finger extended!
