I think that god looks at how you spent your life, not how you spent your Sundays...too many hypocritical people go to church

Religious yes spiritual no some of the most "religious" people I know the ones that go to church all the time have less spirituality than me its like they just go to church because they feel they have to or god will punish them what kind of god would punish you for not sitting down in a building and giving your money to an organization that uses him to make money

No. I am a very religious person, and I never attend church. I wish to know the Divine on my terms, not the terms of the local pastor/priest/rabbi/ etc. I have known very religious and good people who do attend worship service regularly, and those who aren't religious and good attending as well. But to answer your question, no it is not indicative of piety.

"How religious they are?" Yes, probably. How spiritual they are, how good they are, how loving they are, how wise, generous or kind they are? No, definitely not. So what's the point, to follow some established church's doctrines about what is or isn't
"of God", or to follow your heart and soul to do good work, be a good person and search for truth on your own life's journey?

no longer relatively. talking as a former Catholic, many purely bypass for the duration of the action of attending church as quickly as each week through fact that's what they have been taught to do. i understand people who won't attend church centers that have a plenty deeper spirituality. to no longer say that no-one who attends church centers is religious. for sure lots of the those that do attend church relatively do get into it. (even though, purely no longer all of us.)

Nope........hubby & I are changing churches, the church we were going to wants your money....I have no problem contributing, but when we needed help with food etc. they didn't want to help.......plus there are a lot of back stabbers that go to our church as well & we want to get away from them.
