an open honest question for anyone who wants to answer. why are we so afraid/aashamed/embarresed/shy to talk about such things as sex and masturbation and orgasms and all that stuff no one talks about. why are like that, cuz im not lol

For a lot of people it probably has to do with the way they're raised. If it's only talked about in a secretive sort of way it might become associated w/shame, some people may think of sexuality and nudity as "dirty." Some see masturbation, porn, etc. as a sin. It's kind of depends on the society/culture you grew up in and what you were taught (or not taught) about sexuality.

I think it's because people are uptight when discussing sex due to the Victorian attitudes we were raised with.
