I've not spoken to my close female friend for 3 months as we got to close.I told her that I wanted no contact so that I could get over my feelings for her. She only wanted to be friends.
She's txt bck:i really do not have the energy to keep explaining things to you.I will be civil but i'm afraid i feel the close friendship is lost...........
We MET ON FRIDAY at a friends party,we spoke a lot,but she still looked hurt+uncomfortable at times.
I apologised for hurting her i.e. wanting no contact - she snaped bck saying YOU NEVER HURT ME! GOOD/BAD RESPONSE??
I asked her if she'll join us on our group roadtrips - she said YES! - A POSITIVE SIGN OF FRIENDSHIP RESTARTING???
As she left I said that hopefully/possibly see you in a few months -she replied I'll see you at the roadtrip - we said bye and she gave me a tight hug - ANOTHER POSITIVE SIGN???
She needed a hug from my mate as it was too much for her to take in!
IS THE FRIENDSHIP REALLY LOST???Why she hurt???

look friend no1 can know girls so how can we know her but in my opinion she is the person who got hurt in past like either she feel someone her best friend but he did any activity (may be purpose for Merrie) is a possible reasons so she don't believe in friends.she thinks that all are same no one want the true friendship everyone want just a friend for time pass they don't care what the other person is thinks.
so in my opinion if u want real friendship than only talk with her otherwise u will hurt her again.
if u want to make her real friend than meet her and take some time to understand her and her feelings and it is not necessary that all relation must need name u can make a relation with her which has no name. because sometimes someone is giving better emotional support to other than any friend.

She was hurt because you told her you want no contact with her, she must have took that seriously and its probably whirling around in her head.
I've had this exact thing happen to me quite recently, but all you need to do is show to her that you care for her, and you like her, and you don't want to loose her. Don't go to far and get all clingy with her or she will start to get annoyed; play it cool and see what happens, but do NOT loose contact with her. You have to accept the fact that at the minute there is not a very close relationship as there used to be, you cant change that now, but you CAN restart it, and gain each others trust until you are back where you were before all this happened.!

I feel that your friendship will hit a bad patch but let things cool down then when you feel ready text her and say that you feel much happier if you are friend than when you go out in a relationship, Maybe also say that friendship means more to you than goingout as you enjoy her company wit out the comitment and complications you feel you might have if you go out with each other. She only feels hurt cause of the nock back she'll get over it. I had to do the same with a block i like he wants to be friends i feel our friendship got stronger since this happened

I think there is a possible chance the freindship can be saved! Just take it slow! Don't try to rush her! The reason she is hurting is because you just left her for 3 months without saying a word! If my friend did that to me i would be hurt to! Even if you do still like her forget about it! Your friendship is more important!

Shes hurt because after telling her you had feelings for her you then went on to say that you wanted no contact with her. Can you imagine how confusing that must have been for her? You cant expect to go back to how you used to be with her before all this happened. She probably wont know how to act around you and it will be awkward and uncomfortable at times. You need to give her time to adjust

Girls like male friends. Unfortunately too many male friends are only that because they want more (watch When Harry Met Sally). The clue for her that you didnt really want to be just friends is that you took off for 3 months. Next time....dont be friends with women if you want to nail them....they feel, used when you tick off because you dont get your own way.
She hopes that you will get your act together and be a real platonic friend but doesnt want you to think you can use it as a ploy to get more.

yes the friendship is lost i'm afraid. you can't just go from being close friends to telling her you have feelings for her and then not talking to her for three months! its a lot to ask fro her for thing s to go back to how they were. don't force things

maybe the friendship is not lost,but you truely hurt that girl really bad.just leave it and see what happens next. nothing more to do but wait it out.. see if she comes back..
