I get SHITE loads of JUNK mail every Effing day!
Rather than putting ito the bin, i get my child aged 3 to send it back using the prepaid envelopes provided. Anyone got any better ideas of 'killing two birds with one stone'...

I think you can register with the post office to stop junk mail, but the problem is all the companies who are already sending will not be stopped as they already have your address.

We all have the same problem. I agree with your idea of returning it in their prepaid envelopes - if everybody did it that would solve the problem.
You can in fact contact The Mailing Preference Service at www.mpsonline.org.uk,or call 0845 703 4599 or write to them at DMA House,70 Margaret Street, London W1W 8SS requesting them to keep the junk mail at bay - not entirely effective but it will reduce the quantity.

I do the same thing. if they have a toll free number call them back. Companies are selling your name.
