It is known that there is generally a slightly higher percentage of female human babies being born than males. But the female species cannot survive without the male species, nor will the women stay in existence if they only have themselves to put up with.

If by male you mean "human," I'd say no, despite the popularity of sperm banks, embryonic sex selection, and some feminist fantasies about a future, androgynous society.

Pending significant genetic advancements, men and women are still very necessary for perpetuation and advancement of the species.

Even if geneticists found a way to make men (or women) unnecessary, there is no compelling reason why either should not exist. They make life interesting, if you asked me.

yes, as well as the female. if you retrace the life of a baby in the womb from conception you will discover a perfect DNA record of humanities evolution. For example: after a couple months in the womb the baby has gills, tail etc.. From this infallible record you can discover that man was at one point A-sexual (did not need a partner to reproduce) and as ALL things move in cycles we are destined to one day again become Creative beings yet we will have all of our experiences built into us. One of the amazing facts placed before our eyes is that in retracing the evolutionary path of the child in the womb we finialy come to the end point... which turns out to be the fact that we all came from The Circle which is of course infinite as well as one of the fractal patterns of God such as Water and the number One.

Well, seeing that you guys have genes missing (therefore you have a Y chromosome and not a X), females have a higher probability of surviving should anything happen to the world because we have a higher chance of having the gene that would enable us to survive compared to males.
